Many companies try to sell us their masala chai, whether in a shop or on a store shelf, claiming theirs to be authentic, but never come close to presenting the taste you experience in India or when you are a guest in an Indian home. However, when I make it on my own, it comes out different every time, depending on the strength of the ginger I use or the cardamom, etc. I recently discovered Elaichi chai blend, and I must say it is good every time...it's an exact science!
